Basic Policy on Prevention of Bribery and Corruption
1. Purpose
Credit Saison Co., Ltd. (the “Company”), hereby declare that we do not tolerate any form of bribery or corruption.
Based on this basic policy (the “Basic Policy”), the Company shall comply with laws and regulations and shall not pursue any illegal profits in its business activities.
2. Scope of application
The Basic Policy applies to the Company’s Directors, Audit & Supervisory Board Members, Executive Officers, employees and dispatched employees (collectively, “Officers and Employees”).
3. Prohibitions
The Company prohibits the following acts.
- (1)Acts that violate laws and regulations concerning the prevention of bribery and corruption or acts that may give rise to a suspicion of same
- (2) Illegal payoffs to third parties such as public officials, employees of private companies, civilians, or their relatives
- (3)Any act that facilitates any of the acts listed in the preceding items
4. Compliance training
The Company shall continue to provide compliance training for the prevention of bribery and corruption to its Officers and Employees.
5. Development of internal systems
The Company shall streamline internal rules and build an operational platform in order to promptly respond to reports about bribery and corruption.
6. Internal audits
The Company will shall conduct internal audits concerning bribery and corruption.
7. Sanctions
The Company shall take strict disciplinary action against any individual who violates the Basic Policy in accordance with its internal rules. Disciplinary action for violations will be based on the Company’s employment regulations and so forth.
