■Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
In May 2022, we expressed our support for the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), which recommends the disclosure of information about the financial impact of climate change.
■TCFD Consortium
In May 2022, we expressed our support for the TCFD consortium, a discussion forum for the companies and financial institutions supporting the TCFD recommendations.
■CDP
In partnership with major institutional investors around the world, since 2022 we have supported the CDP,* a project that encourages the disclosure of information about global enterprises’ strategies concerning their fight against climate change and their GHG emissions, and we have started responding to its questionnaire. We received a B rating in the FY2022 climate change questionnaire. *A nonprofit organization established in Britain (formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project). The CDP partners with institutional investors and others to ask companies and municipal governments to disclose information about their measures to address environmental issues and conducts research and analysis.
■Japan Impact-driven Financing Initiative
In April 2023, a group of financial institutions with the common belief that financial institutions exist to comprehensively understand their impact and work to create solutions to environmental and social issues joined together to establish the Japan Impact-driven Financing Initiative to promote impact-driven investment and financing.
■The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG)
As a member of the Japanese advisory board for the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG), we are affiliated with the GSG Japan National Advisory Board which contributes to the expansion of impact investment market and ecosystem through research, the dissemination of information and networking activities.
■Social Impact Management Initiative
We are affiliated with SIMI, a multi-sector initiative bringing together diverse members including businesses, funders, brokers, government agencies, intermediate support organizations, think tanks, evaluators and researchers to cooperate to promote social impact management throughout Japan.
■Inclusion in ESG indices
ESG index used by GPIF based on companies' disclosure of environmental information and carbon efficiency
ESG index used by GPIF the selects companies that excel in terms of gender diversity
ESG index used by GPIF that evaluates companies' commitment to gender equality

Selects companies that develop internal mechanisms for promoting DX that leads to the enhancement of corporate value and an excellent track record in the use of digital technology.

Received a B rating in the 2022 CDP Climate Change Questionnaire
■DE&I and health management evaluations
In 2014, we received the Award of Excellence in a program for commending companies taking excellent initiatives for enabling cancer patients to work while receiving treatment.
In 2020,We were recognized as a company with excellent performance in the promotion of cancer control in the corporate action for promoting cancer control.
We won gold at the Cancer Ally Awards 2022, a private project that commends companies committed to addressing the cancer and employment issue.
In 2022, we acquired the Silver certification under the National Federation of Health Insurance Societies program to recognize companies with excellent health management initiatives.
Certified as Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization 2023 by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Nippon Kenko Kaigi.
